Key Responsibilities:- Category Management: Oversee the entire category journey within the business, from purchasing to stock levels and selling the products.
- Product Portfolio Management: Develop and manage the product portfolio, ensuring it meets market demands and company objectives.
- Purchasing: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of products, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive category growth.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.
- Product Knowledge: Possess a basic understanding of the product, with the opportunity to gain more in-depth knowledge on the job.
- Performance Tracking: Analyse category performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align category strategies with overall business goals.
- Passionate about tablets and iPads
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of tablets and iPads and willingness to learn more in-depth product information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
