• **Promote Student Welfare:** Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in line with the schools safeguarding policies and the PREVENT initiative.
• **Assist Learning Activities:** Work closely with teachers to implement engaging and appropriate learning activities tailored to individual student needs, fostering a holistic learning experience.
• **Positive Relationships:** Build strong, trusting relationships with students, ensuring they feel supported in both their academic and emotional journeys.
• **Learning Support:** Provide additional explanations and tailored support to students during lessons, enabling them to make progress in their learning.
• **Track Progress:** Assist in gathering evidence of student achievements, supporting teachers in monitoring and assessing progress.
• **Feedback & Evaluation:** Contribute to the evaluation of learning activities and provide constructive feedback on student performance.
• **Record Keeping:** Help maintain comprehensive documentation of student progress, in line with the schools tracking and reporting processes.

### **Ideal Candidate Profile:**

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• GCSE English and Maths, grade C (or 4 under the new system) or above

• Experience working with students with SEN, SLDPMLD, ADHD, and ASD
• Familiarity with safeguarding principles and child protection procedures
• Experience in using positive behaviour management strategies, including approaches for managing challenging behaviours
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, inclusive environment
