Responsibilities of a Upper KS2 Teacher:
- As a Upper KS2 Teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
- Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
- Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
- Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
- Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents
- Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning
- Collaborate with school management, teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support for Upper KS2 students.
Upper KS2 Teacher requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Education, or related field.
- Teaching qualification and QTS.
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching Upper KS2 students.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
- Ability to create and present engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
