Polytec are looking for a Design Validation Engineer for our client based just north of Cambridge.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test to verify performance and functionality
- Produce clear and concise technical reports
- Develop and enhance test methodologies and equipment, ensuring efficient and effective validation processes
- Reproduce hardware issues and assist in debugging technical problems
- Maintain laboratory and test equipment, ensuring proper calibration, functionality, and adherence to safety protocols
- Liaise with external test houses to conduct specialised testing that cannot be performed in-house
Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience with Environmental and Electrical testing processes
- Solid understanding of Electronics and experience in testing electronic components or systems
- Proficient using a wide range of bench test equipment, including Power Supplies, Digital Multimeters and Oscilloscopes
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with EMC and RF test plans and techniques
