CHILDCARE APPRENTICESHIP
Location: Tops Musgrove, Musgrove, TauntonPay rate: Up to £6.41 per hour (with Qualification enhancements available)
Contracted Hours: 30 hours per week/Part time
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Childcare apprentice looks after the educational and social development of babies and young children up to the age of five. Their primary duties include providing children with a safe environment to learn, helping them to develop basic social and behavioural skills and engaging them in age-appropriate play activities.In joining us, you’ll also become part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside other team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth and kindness to all those who work in our Nurseries.
Tops Musgrove Nursery is a 122 place Day Nursery & Pre-School situated in Musgrove, Taunton. The nursery run several extra-curricular activities including Tops Forest School, cooking school, Boogie Mites, yoga, toothbrushing, Football fun and much more!We’re rated 9.4 by daynurseries.co.uk and graded Good by OFSTED

ABOUT YOU
If you’ve worked in Nursery before, then that’s great as you’ll have a good idea of what to expect. But if Childcare as a profession is new to you, then don’t worry – we’ll provide all the training you need to start your Early Years Care journey with us, all delivered in a nurturing, engaging and rewarding environment.
Some of the primary skills we are looking for will be someone will include;- Excellent communication skills, to engage with the children and converse with other staff members and parents
- Creative skills and imagination to provide educational activities to children that can ensure the child is happy and learning in a rewarding environment
- Positive outlook, to keep children happy and build an environment where children feel secure and rewarded.
