We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Social Worker/Specialist Social Worker in Localities, classified as Grade 8. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to individuals and families within our locality, promoting their well-being and safeguarding their rights.Your expertise will play a vital role in assessing complex needs, developing tailored intervention plans, and delivering support to vulnerable populations. As a Senior Social Worker, you will also lead case reviews, mentor junior team members, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of local resources and community dynamics, allowing you to effectively collaborate with a range of stakeholders including schools, health services, and community organizations. You will also be instrumental in disseminating best practices and innovative approaches to improve service delivery.

ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and circumstances.
Develop, implement, and review personalized support plans in collaboration with clients and families.
Provide ongoing case management and advocacy for clients to ensure access to necessary resources and services.
Mentor and supervise junior social workers and students to enhance their professional development.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers and educational institutions, to coordinate holistic care.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting progress and any significant changes in circumstances.
Stay informed on local policies, regulations, and best practices in social work to ensure compliance and high-quality service delivery.
RequirementsA recognized degree in Social Work and current registration with the relevant social work regulatory board.
Significant experience working in a social work capacity, specifically with local communities.
Demonstrated ability to assess and manage complex cases involving children, families, and vulnerable adults.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
A commitment to professional development and staying updated on social work practices and policies.
Proficiency in using case management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Pay Per Hour: £27.64
