life cycle role: Commercial Business Analyst (Fixed Term Contract 12 months)
Our client is looking for a Commercial Business Analyst to support the delivery of projects through identifying, researching and assisting with the development of commercial opportunities including funding, commercial models, transformation and innovation across the organisation as part of our Commercial Strategy.
The Commercial Business Analyst will present data to various stakeholders throughout a programme/ project lifecycle to support and show decision-making. Liaise with Project Managers, Specialists, and other Project Stakeholders to ensure that the Commercial Strategy is delivered effectively.
As part of the outcomes the Commercial Business Analyst will function as an internal consultant to the Head of Service, Commercial Manager and senior management on allocated work streams.
About you:- Extracting, analysing, and presenting data and service information, and conducting bench-marking/ market research/ external reviews on several commercial opportunities
- Optimise income and find new revenue opportunities.
- Research new and innovative trends and activities that lead to income generation that are cost effective as part of an ongoing project.
- Explore options for new delivery models as needed.
- Prioritise use of resources to meet changing customer needs and demands.
- Help to promote and grow the local economy.
- Develop a commercial culture that includes contract management.
- Shape external funding opportunities where appropriate.
End Goal:
The end goal for the Commercial Business Analyst will be working with Commercial and Procurement colleagues on commercial issues and queries effectively, supporting the delivery of improved outcomes for customers, communities, and clients.
