Senior Accounts Payable Clerk

About Our Client

Michael Page Finance have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client on a permanent basis. They have a large Accounting and Finance team and are well established in the Professional Services sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, with a strong focus on managing accounts payable duties.

• Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Collaborating with the Financial Controller to improve financial procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Processing high volumes of company invoices and payments.
• Ensuring that the ledger is reconciled accurately and that any queries or discrepancies are dealt with efficiently.
• Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Strong numerical proficiency.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
