Junior Merchandiser
ARNE is a direct to consumer, athleisure apparel brand/retailer based in Birchwood Park near Warrington, UK. We design and develop our products in the UK, manufacture in the near & far east and then ship directly to our customers, with ARNECLO.com ecommerce store as our only sales channel.
We have ambitious objectives over the next decade with the team believing all targets are achievable through new product category launches in shoes and womenswear alongside the creation of paid media and CRM activity to further amplify the great product / brand assets we have already created.
Reporting to our Senior Merchandisers, you’ll be supporting the Product team in maximising sales through effective management of stock. Requirements- Prepare weekly trade sales analysis through report running and analysis, driving team trade meetings, proposing clear actions and opportunities
- Assist in managing total company and category WSSIs, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities, as well as any potential risk in stock.
- Trading departments in season, ensuring best sellers are pushed to their full potential, and quickly identifying product risks.
- Weekly review line cards to manage products stock and sales forecasts in line with department OTB, ensuring the product critical path is taken into consideration
- Consider profit in decision making, reviewing shipment methods, fabric planning & capacity when reviewing buys.
- Strong understanding of the department critical path, and order book - working closely with suppliers and supporting the MAA’s and AMs to ensure deliveries are on time for key launches.
- Building and utilising season reviews/lessons learnt to support in future planning and strategy planning in conjunction with the wider product team.
- Refining and improving processes to streamline workload and benefit the team
- Management of junior members of the team, motivating and supporting them to drive progression. Create a happy and approachable environment for team members to learn.
- Support Senior Merchandisers with ad hoc analysis, clearly communicating findings and offering actions.
- Work collaboratively with wider business functions, developing strong working relationships to support the merchandising function.
- Experience as an established Assistant Merchandiser or already working at Junior Merchandiser level.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, always looking to deliver quality work in an efficient manner
- Strong data interpretation and analytical skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel required (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables etc)
- Great problem-solving skills, and ability to manage your own time
