- Inspecting machine parts and assemblies in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Supporting the Quality Manager with the management of the QMS
- Servicing and calibrating equipment including laser trackers and CMM’s
- Providing training to operators to the recognised level
- Working closely with production, estimating and sales
- Advising on capital investments to ensure that leading technologies are being used
- Actioning NCR’s through 8D problem solving tools
- A trained internal auditing certification or relevant experience
- Previous time served as a machinist or toolmaker (desirable)
- Leica or Faro experience (desirable)
- Lean and six sigma experience (desirable)
- Previous experience working within a precision engineering environment (desirable)
