What you'll do…- Design, develop, and deploy software solutions to solve complex business problems.
- Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify patterns. Optimise software algorithms for performance and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in software engineering and incorporate new techniques into projects.
- Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate software solutions into products.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of software designs, algorithms, and processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed software, making necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency.
What you'll bring…
We are looking for a seasoned and adaptable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn new skills and technologies. The ideal candidate will possess:
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges.
- Java with SpringBoot or similar frameworks
- Kubernetes and container management
- Docker
- Distributed and scalable applications principles
- Building RESTful services and Web UI
- Exposure to continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and test automation
- Exposure to public cloud infrastructure, data streaming and Spanner DB
- Experience coaching and mentoring teams to adopt the latest techniques.
Desirable Skills:
- Up to date with the latest research and advancements in machine learning.
- ReactJS or knowledge of JavaScript, Nodejs, TypeScript
- Knowledge and experience of working in heavily regulated environments (e.g., finance).
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying machine learning models.
