We have an exciting 1 year Fixed Term opportunity arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Clinical Administration Service (CAS) Hub 9B as a Senior Administrator within our Respiratory Chest Team. supporting a newly commissioned Study.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with previous clerical experience who can communicate at all levels, work flexibly if needed and is able to organise and prioritise their workload alongside others. Goodcommunication skills are essential as you will be dealing with members of the public as well as our clinical teams. You must have a passion to work in a health care setting, a 'can do' attitude and more importantly have a flexible approach to working.
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.

The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, adaptability and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. As a SeniorAdministrator you will be many aspects of the patient pathway providing administrative support to our clinicians.
This is a newly created role to support a new Lung Health Check Study and you must be committed to delivering a high standard of patient care and have a flexible attitude to work and be part of a multidisciplinary team.
Duties may include typing clinical correspondence, tracking patients through their treatment pathway, contacting patients directly, and data inputting and collating data among others.
This role is a 27 months fixed term contract and will be 37.5 hours per week in line with requirements of the department to cover Mondays to Friday, 8:30 - 1700 with 1 hour unpaid lunch.

Skills
Essential criteria- Excellent communication skills. Able to quickly build a rapport
- Ability to build relations and collaborate with others
- Competent in use of MS Office
- Excellent record keeping/data recording skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Understanding of statutory clinical trial regulations, GCP and research governance requirement
Knowledge and experience
Essential criteria- Experience of providing a service to patients or customers
- Experience of talking to talking to people over the telephone in a work environment
- Experience of prioritising tasks
- Experience of lung health checks
- Familiarity with NCSCT - very brief advice to stop smoking
- Experience of working in a health setting
Qualifications
Essential criteria- Must have achieved grace C (4) or above in Maths and English; or equivalent
Statutory, legal or special requirements
Essential criteria- Prepared to undergo a DBS Check
- Have a full clean driving licence and access to transport
