The Role
As Risk Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Chief Risk Officer to develop and embed the risk management framework. This challenging position offers competitive remuneration and the opportunity to influence stakeholders at all levels, including Senior Executives.
Key Responsibilities of the Risk Manager:
- Support the development and embedding of the risk management framework
- Challenge stakeholders on application of risk framework and risk appetite statements
- Deliver regular reporting suitable for Board and Subcommittee audiences
- Provide risk training and support to key stakeholders
- Champion a proactive risk-focused approach to strategic and business objectives
Required knowledge and experience for the Risk Manager role:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a risk management role within FCA regulated financial services
- IRM Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
- Experience with enterprise risk management principles and best practices
- Ability to influence stakeholders up to Senior Executive level
- Experience operating risk management software
