We are currently on the lookout for dedicated individuals to join us as Band 3 Imaging Assistants at King's Mill Hospital. If you have a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and a desire to contribute to the well-being of our patients, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As an Imaging Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the CT Colons and pre-examination cannulation in both CT and MRI services across all our sites. Your primary objective will be to assist our radiographic staff in all non-nursing aspects of patient care in MRI, including specialized procedures in cross sectional imaging
The available posts are full time with one part time post of 26.25 hours per week . All posts include evenings , weekends and bank holidays.

Knowledge Requirements
Essential criteria- Knowledge required through work experience. Knowledge of work procedures and practices having underpinned knowledge through NVQ 3 training –Health specific
- Certificate of competence in IV injecting
Qualifications-Academic/ Craft/ Professional
Essential criteria- A good standard of education
- NVQ 3 Clinical Support
- NVQ II in care
Further Training
Essential criteria- Phlebotomy and Cannulation
- ECG Recording
- Catheterisation
- Any associated training related to healthcare
Experience
Essential criteria- Experience of working in a healthcare setting
- Previous experience in radiology setting
Contractual Requirements
Essential criteria- May be required to work evenings/weekends and bank holidays as part of the rota.
