This post presents an exciting opportunity to become a Team Leader within our Personal Wellbeing service. Commissioned by HMPPS these services are focused on supporting adult male ex-offenders across the following pathways:

Family and Significant Others

Lifestyle and Associates

Emotional Wellbeing Services

Social Inclusion

Your role is to provide line management and motivate a team of Frontline Practitioners to achieve our Business Plan objectives to: innovate, revitalise and reform the delivery of Justice Services.

This role will involve working in close partnership with delivery partners, HMPPS, Voluntary Sector and other Criminal Justice organisations to promote and deliver our services and achieve the required outputs and outcomes.

You will be responsible for ensuring all services are mobilised in accordance with contractual deadlines, service deliverables are contractually compliant and meet Catch22’s reporting mechanisms. Furthermore, you will take a pivotal role co-designing innovative and engaging service provisions to ensure best practice and leading-edge services are available to all service users.

You will be accountable for creating an environment in which staff are engaged and empowered to achieve greater impact and understand the strategic vision of Catch22. You will proactively promote the values, aims and objectives of Catch22 and show understanding and commitment to the needs of service users and their local communities and how Catch22 Justice services can most effectively address these needs.

Driving license and access to a personal Vehicle (this role will require travel to offices across the Thames Valley area).
  • A relevant qualification in offender rehabilitation or related fields, such as criminology, criminal justice, social care, or mental health.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Proven management and leadership experience, with a track record of achieving outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of offender rehabilitation models, risk management, and relevant legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and producing reports.
  • Excellent communication, engagement, and motivational skills to support effective team and partnership working.
  • A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and creating a positive team culture.
  • Flexibility to travel and undertake training as needed.

Additional Requirements: Successful post-holders will need to have a full UK Driving License and access to a personal vehicle for work purposes.
Contract: Full time, permanent
Hours & work pattern: Full time, 38 hours per week.
Salary: Up to £33,800.00

Location: This role is based in Thames Valley, Oxfordshire

Preferences for successful candidates will be considered but are not always guaranteed.

Screening: Successful admission to post subject to enhanced DBS check, HMPPS vetting check, and employer Right To Work in the UK check. The post-holder must have right to work in the UK. Catch22 does not currently provide a licence to sponsor visas but please see this register to see those that do.

Working patterns: Monday to Friday.
