This is a great opportunity to join an established Ophthalmology company as First Line Sales Manager. In this role you will build, develop, and motivate a team to consistently deliver the agreed-upon objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Understand the business i.e., company vision, people, products, competition, and market dynamics.
Hiring, onboarding, and motivating the team to build and lead a winning team with can-do attitude. This will involve the recruitment of a substantial number of new salespeople as a part of the immediate expansion plan.
Training and development of sales team: in-field coaching, selling skills, product knowledge improvement, and mentoring.
Leverage people's strengths. Good to great, motivate, and grow the team.Master the business ecosystem comprising of Ophthalmologists, ICBs, allied Healthcare professionals, etc.
Spending 80% of your time in the field with team and customers.
Sales force effectiveness: Daily call planning, regular customer list updates, and periodically refreshing customer segmentation and targeting.
Supporting the team in developing and executing key accounts plans in-line with marketing strategy.Develop and maintain relationships with selected KOLs in the country.
Understand and manage the budget, by converting the budget into a road map, and working with the team on how to achieve it.
Directing and leading field force to outgrow the market demonstrated by significant market share gains for our focused key products.

Qualifications
University degree (or equivalent) - ideally Life Sciences, BusinessABPI qualified
Full UK drivers licence
Person experience required
Demonstrated 1st Line Manager success for 3 years or more who can quickly grow self to the next level.Passion to grow team members with winning attitude and habits.

Building and leading best in industry sales team to deliver sales, profit, and market share growth.
High EQ (Emotional Quotient).
Understanding the selling process in pharmaceuticals through Hospital and ICB network.

Performance driven with clear thinking on expected standards. Ability to take tough decisions, when required.
Fearless communicator and effective listener.
Accountability: Courage to own both success and failures.
Good vertical and horizontal communication and relationship with functional teams especially with marketing.Able to analyse numbers, gain insights and challenge the status quo.
