As a Recycling Operative, you will be responsible for Dismantling Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment, (WEEE) safely and efficiently to meet current standards, reuse and recycle as much waste material as possible whilst maximising earning potential for Wiser Recycling.
Specific job tasks and activities

Loading, delivery and unloading of WEEE
Breaking down of Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) into component parts.
Dismantling WEEE such as flat panel TVs, microwaves, CRTs and other waste electricals
Provide a professional and courteous experience to customers, while working in line with health and safety regulations and Wiser Recycling's policies.
Sorting out the recyclable and reusable items from the waste area.
Unloading vans with Drivers.
Job includes lifting and manual handling.
Carrying out reasonable instructions from the Team Leader and Site Manager.

Qualifications and experience
Mandatory

Must be able to reliably commute daily to Thetford
Must be comfortable with heavy lifting

Desired

Experience of working within the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment industry
Able to work weekends and bank holidays
Knowledge of safe working practices

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,144.00 per year
