Working pattern: Hybrid but you will need to flexible depending on team tasks and resources. Weetabix Wednesday is a non-negotiable where we all come into the office for business partnering and meetings.

The recipe!

The purpose of this role is to develop and sustain Co-Manufacturing production plans and Purchase Orders, including Merchandising Units, that maximise finished goods inventory targets and enhance customer service levels - This includes overseeing production planning reporting.

You will coordinate modifications to plans between Production and Material Planning, ensuring that materials are available to support these changes. Additionally, you will manage orders of all direct materials effectively. The role also involves providing analysis and insights on direct material KPIs, aiming to achieve operational excellence through strategic planning, prioritization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

  • Develop and oversee production plans for Co-Manufactured and Merchandising Units to satisfy customer service levels
  • Collaborate with Material Planners to address material constraints affecting plans and service levels
  • Manage Purchase Orders for Co-Manufactured and Merchandising Units as per requirements
  • Ensure timely delivery of Merchandising Units from Demand Signal to dispatch
  • Coordinate European Co-man planning with international teams
  • Assist plan changes by ensuring all materials are available with Production Planners
  • Ensure availability of direct materials to meet production goals and manage aged/obsolete stock risks
  • Identify demand and manage supplier orders per SLAs
  • Monitor and optimise stock levels in accordance with inventory targets, focusing on Minimum Order Quantity/Economic Order Quantity and lead-time improvements

Requirements

Non-negotiables
  • Utilise data analysis skills to interpret plans and identify issues, trends, and opportunities
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail with the ability to demonstrate proficiency in numeracy, statistics, and process flows
  • Effective data reporting and presentation skills
  • Be able to demonstrate they have strong organisational skills by effectively managing time and workloads
  • Microsoft – Proficient in Excel MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft BI
  • Alignment to Weetabix values
  • Are always curious to find new ways to do business!
  • Have the ability to demonstrate how you keep up to date in your field of expertise
Nice to haves
  • Previous experience in a Planning environment
  • Experience of working in an FMCG environment
  • Microsoft AX & or ERP Systems advanced user knowledge
