GCSE Tutor - Oxford

Job Title: GCSE Tutor

Salary:

£25 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide tutoring and academic support to secondary school students preparing for GCSE exams.
• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to individual student needs.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Help students improve their understanding of key GCSE subjects, such as Maths, English, and Science.
• Assist students in exam preparation, including practise tests and revision techniques.

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and exam requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Experience:

• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching secondary school students.
• Demonstrated success in helping students achieve academic goals.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Proficiency in creating effective learning environments.
• Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple students and tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education or related field.
• Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs.

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours, mainly after school or on weekends.
• Work closely with students in educational settings, such as schools or tutoring centres.
• May require travel to different locations within Oxfordshire.
