Security Supervisor

This role sits within our Security business division which provides physical security guarding, access control, alarm systems and perimeter property protection, CCTV, mobile surveillance, and ANPR Technology services to a wide range of prestigious clients.
About The Role:Days of Working: Monday to Friday
Shift Pattern: 07:00am to 19:00pm

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Security Supervisor to join our team at the National Army Museum. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of a team of five security guards, ensuring the safety and security of the site, staff, visitors, and exhibits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of five security guards, ensuring high standards of professionalism and performance.
- Conduct daily briefings, allocate tasks, and monitor the team's effectiveness.
- Ensure the site is secure through regular patrols, access control, and monitoring of CCTV systems.
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of incidents, ensuring compliance with site protocols and regulations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with staff, visitors, and external stakeholders.
- Assist in training and development of the security team.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a security supervisory role or similar position.
- SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence (essential).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- A professional and approachable manner with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
