The Role – PE Teacher- Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across KS3, KS4, KS5 and BTEC Sport at Level 3.
- Inspire students to develop their skills, confidence, and passion for physical activity and healthy living.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and excel, and all students feel supported in their learning.
- Organise and support extracurricular sporting activities, clubs, and competitive events.
- Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and help maintain high standards within the department.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to enhance opportunities for students.
- Holds UK QTS and has experience teaching PE at secondary level.
- Degree level qualified
- Has a strong understanding of the national curriculum and experience in delivering BTEC Sport at Level 3.
- Is committed to fostering a love for sport and physical activity in all students.
- Is a team player who works well within a dynamic and supportive department.
- Has excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Enthusiastic about contributing to extracurricular activities and whole-school initiatives.
