Team Leader Licensing and Enforcement Support
Overview:
London Borough of Harrow is seeking a dynamic individual to be the team leader for licensing and enforcement support. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the licensing team who deal with a wide variety of licensing matters as well as our enforcement support team who provide valuable administative and technical support to the wider Public Protection and Enforcement service.
This is a fast-paced service and we are looking for a candicate with the the knowledge and experience to prepare, update and implement policies and procedures, deal with enquiries and complaints, and undertake enforcement action where required.
You will have a passion for what you do and be motivated to take pride in delivering a high-quality service.
About you:
The successful candidate will have:
- Have an excellent knowledge of licensing legislation.
- Full current driving licence
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a demanding and pressurised environment independently and as a team.
- High standard of written and verbal presentation and communication skills
- Competent in the use of standard computer systems
- Aptitude for the technical and legal aspects of the discipline
- Inclusive team worker who can foster partnerships work Collaboratory across teams to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to work outside normal working hours as may be necessary to deliver an effective licensing and enforcement support team.
