This role begins March 2025.
Duties as a Design Technology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 & KS4 (KS5 if applicable).
- Inspire students to develop practical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of the DT curriculum.
- Support students with coursework and exam preparation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
Ideal Design Technology Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Design Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience or enthusiasm for teaching DT at secondary level.
- Strong practical skills as a Design Technology Teacher
- A commitment to inspiring and motivating students of all abilities.
