Job Description

Post Title: Family Group Coordinator
Location: Jannys Hoose, 54 Telford Road, Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent

Salary: HC9 £42,879 - £46,410 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Providing a Social Work Service to children and families, including looked after children and those on the Child Protection Register by coordinating Family Group

Meetings; being responsible for preparing families, children/young people and professionals for Family Group Decision Making meetings (FGDMs) and Reviews; To promote and develop FGDM.

Requirements

Qualification in social work

Experience in child protection and management of risk

Experience of working with looked after children and their families

Ability to engage with a wide range of professionals and children & families, using excellent communication skills

To demonstrate a commitment to strength based & relationship - based practice
