Warehouse Assistant
Jobwise Hyde
Warehouse Assistant / Picker/Packer required for a Medical Supplies business based close to Hyde. The role will involve using a handheld scanner to log all stock required and to package up appropriately, print off the required address sticker and place in the loading bay.
You must be happy to be on your feet for the majority of the day and able to work methodically and lift and carry bulky and heavy boxes.
The role can be immediately available and initially would be for 1 to 2 weeks, with the potential to extend. The hourly rate is £11.44ph and the working hours are 9am to 5pm.
What will you be doing as a Warehouse Assistant?- Assisting with goods in, booking the stock into system and storing deliveries into the correct place
- Moving bulky stock around the warehouse and unloading pallets
- Picking and packing orders, checking paperwork, topping up areas
- Using a handheld scanning gun to log all items being packed
- Printing delivery stickers
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Must have previous picking and packing/warehouse experience
- You must be happy to be on your feet for the majority of the day and able to lift and carry bulky and heavy boxes
- Keen eye for detail to ensure correct items are packed for orders
- Your previous job title may be a warehouse assistant, picker/packer
- Hourly rate of £11.44ph
- Full time hours - 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
- Immediate start available
