Our team is seeking an Environmental Specialist who will be responsible for
managing environmental compliance at Amazon Transportation Services (ATS)
Facilities within the UK & IE. They will also provide technical support at our
teams to execute company environmental procedures and ensure compliance with
all applicable specific country, stateprovince, region and local regulations.
Utilizing risk assessments and compliance evaluations, this individual will
lead site specific continuous improvement initiatives to minimize
environmental aspects and impacts and communicate and implement best
practices. They must be able to work with the teams to ensure success for
business support. This role entails 50% travel to multiple sites across the

The Environmental Specialist will report to the Environmental Leader for theUK through the EU Environmental Assurance and Protection team.
The Environmental Specialist will also partner with the operations leadershipteams to execute company environmental procedures and ensure compliance with
all applicable specific country, stateprovince, region and local regulations.
Utilizing risk assessments and compliance evaluations, this individual will
lead site specific continuous improvement initiatives to minimize
environmental aspects and impacts and communicate and implement best
practices. They must be able to work with the teams to ensure success for

Responsibilities:- Manage and execute multi-site responsibilities to comply with air emissions,
local reporting
- Participate in the development, introduction, control, improvement and

- Measure and analyze sites’ performance against published requirements in

- Cooperate in contacts with the authorities and in the implementation of any

- Complete environmental inspections and performance analysis, monitor

### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A completed Bachelor’s Degree in civil, chemical or environmental
- Experience serving as an environmental technical resource, program
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, including
- In depth knowledge of EU, country and region specific regulations
- Experience in engaging with Regulatory Agencies in permit applications
- Broad knowledge of EU environmental regulations
- Experience in warehouse operations and logistics is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and the use of pivot tables and the
- Ability to manage multiple sitesremotely
- Must be detailed minded and technically oriented to comfortably deep dive
assessment.
- Experience managing change in multiple site environments and the ability to
influence peers and superiors
