IT Security Assurance Lead/Consultant

Duration: Min 6 months with likely extensions
Start: February 2025
Rate: To circa £650.00 Per Day - Inside IR35 via Umbrella

Location: Remote working with travel if required to Warwickshire

Our leading financial servics client in the West Midlands are seeking a highly accomplished, UK based IT Security Assurance Lead / Technical SME / Consultant with strong people skills, to assist with their Datacentre Exit program of work.

Deliverables -
  • Deliverable 1: Cloud Migration Support
  • Deliverable 2: Identity & Access Management
  • Deliverable 3: Privileged Account Management
  • Deliverable 4: Security Assurance & Governance
  • Deliverable 5: Stakeholder Engagement
  • Deliverable 6: Technical Excellence (Power BI, SQL, IAM/PAM, Cloud Security)

Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with system and software migrations, preferably to Azure Cloud environments
  • Track record of working with third party suppliers to improve security posture
  • Proven experience working with IAM and PAM solutions
  • Strong experience with CyberArk
  • Strong background in Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD, CyberArk, and related authentication mechanisms
  • Familiarity with Power BI reporting, ServiceNow development and SQL/Oracle database access management
  • Track record of providing security assurance and governance in previous IT roles
  • Advanced knowledge of identity and authentication processes, such as single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and federated identity systems
  • Expertise in RBAC, least privilege, entitlement management, and Zero Trust frameworks
  • Understanding of Azure Cloud services and associated security features

  • Self-motivated, driven, and autonomous, requiring minimal support to achieve outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Confidence to challenge stakeholders and enforce best practices
