Healthcare Assistant

We are currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our dedicated agency team, working in care homes across Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Our care homes provide essential support to adults with a variety of care needs, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in people's lives and eager to build a rewarding career in the adult social care industry.

Please note that while we do not offer sponsorship, we can accommodate 20-hour shifts.

Start Date: ASAP

Shift Times: 07:30 - 14:30

14:00 - 21:30

Key Responsibilities:

1. Encourage and promote independence among residents.
2. Perform regular checks on residents to ensure their safety within the home and in their rooms.
3. Provide personal care in accordance with individual needs.
4. Assist with mealtimes, including feeding or preparing light snacks.
5. Safely use manual handling equipment to assist residents who need support.
6. Complete daily paperwork, including charts for washing, meals, and other relevant tasks.
7. Build meaningful relationships with residents and colleagues, fostering a supportive and friendly environment.

1. Minimum of 3 months of UK care experience (essential).
2. Proficient in the use of manual handling equipment (essential).
3. Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English (essential).

5. Positive and professional attitude (essential).
6. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (essential).
