Job Duties:
- Supporting teachers in delivering effective teaching sessions
- Assisting with classroom management and student supervision
- Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties
- Preparing and organising educational materials
- Assisting in the assessment of student progress
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Relevant teaching assistant qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working in an educational setting preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Understanding of child development and learning processes
- Basic knowledge of educational policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher-level teaching assistant qualification
- First aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role may require standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting of educational materials. The working environment will be a classroom setting within a school.
