Nursery Teacher
This role begins March 2025.
Duties as Nursery Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
- Assess and track children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
- Promote positive behaviour and develop children's confidence and independence.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and other professionals to support children's learning needs.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
Ideal Nursery Teacher:
- A degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a relevant qualification.
- A recognised teaching qualification (EYTS, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience working with children in an early years setting.
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills as a Nursery Teacher.
- A caring, patient, and creative approach to teaching young children.
