Community Support Worker
We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Support Worker to join our friendly team in Sittingbourne, working 37 hours a week. This role involves both face-to-face and virtual support, where you will work directly with clients, as well as from our office in Sittingbourne.

Location: Sittingbourne & MaidstoneFull time: 37 hours per week
Working hours: Monday - Thursday: 9am-5pm | Friday: 9am-4.30pm
Salary: £24,000Benefits: 27 days annual leave, pension scheme

What you’ll do:
- Provide practical and emotional support to women experiencing domestic abuse.
- Empower women to understand their rights and explore options to safely live free from abuse.
- Collaborate with external agencies to deliver holistic care and advocate for women.
What we’re looking for:
- A woman with a strong commitment to ending gender-based violence.
- Excellent communication skills to listen and empathise effectively.
- Experience in safety and support planning, and working with vulnerable individuals in health, social care, or community settings.
Requirements:
- A driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role.
- An enhanced DBS check will be carried out by SATEDA.
- This role is restricted to women under Part 1, Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
