Responsibilities:
- Handling a caseload of immigration matters, including but not limited to visa applications, asylum claims, and appeals.
- Providing legal advice and representation to clients in immigration proceedings.
- Conducting legal research and staying updated on changes in immigration law and policy.
- Drafting legal documents, including applications, affidavits, and submissions.
- Communicating with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborating with other members of the legal team and supporting colleagues as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of client matters
