Main duties of the job

To be responsible for completing the radio tasks assigned to the patient catering team from soft facilities helpdesk in a timely manner.

To be responsible for delivering out of hours meals and other requested food items as required, to wards and clinical areas as per the allocated radio task following set procedures and specifications.

To be responsible for the cleaning and maintaining standards of hygiene within the out of hours kitchens and ensuring that the service complies with Food Safety Legislation.

Supporting the patient catering service to deliver meals to any clinical areas which are not covered with a full-time ward catering assistant.

You will ensure that high quality Food Hygiene and cleaning standards are always maintained.
