Due to continued expansion our leading Building Services client are recruiting an Electrical Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Senior Estimator and Board of Directors, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for Electrical projects, including materials and labour costs.
Main duties;Preparation of estimates for electrical projects.
Adhering to electrical codes and regulations.
Analysing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
Effective management of time and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and budget.
Use of estimation software to create cost estimates.
Providing detailed reports.
Liaison with senior management and clients to provide regular progress updates on projects.
Skills & Experience;Proficient in electrical estimating.
Knowledge of local electrical codes.
Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
Excellent math and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Proficient in the use of electrical estimating software.
Ability to work with a team.
