We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a HVAC Engineer / Heating / Ventilation / Air Conditioning Technician who is able to develop and review HVAC system designs as well as oversee or participate in the installation of the systems, and has excellent fault-finding and repair skills.
As the HVAC Engineer / Heating / Ventilation / Air Conditioning Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems across the site.
Working as the HVAC Engineer / Heating / Ventilation / Air Conditioning Technician the role will involve a broad range of activities, from hands-on technical work to complex engineering tasks, supporting the safe and efficient operation of the facility.

DUTIES
Your duties as a HVAC Engineer / Heating / Ventilation / Air Conditioning Technician will include:
System Design and Engineering- Develop and review HVAC system designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications
- Perform engineering calculations and simulations to optimize system performance
- Oversee or participate in the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring all components are correctly assembled and integrated
- Conduct commissioning tests to verify system functionality and performance
- Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems, including preventative and corrective tasks to ensure reliability and efficiency
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
- Plan and manage HVAC-related projects, from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget
- Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate HVAC systems into the overall plant infrastructure
- Ensure all HVAC work complies with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies
- Conduct quality assurance checks and audits to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Prepare detailed reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and project progress
- Maintain accurate records of designs, modifications, and repairs for future reference
- Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and site personnel to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders as needed
- Ideally have NEBOSH Qualifications
- Ideally have IOSH Managing Safely
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
