A leading care provider is seeking a dynamic and experienced Children's Home Manager to launch and lead a small, specialized residential service in the picturesque town of Huddersfield, located on the edge of the stunning Yorkshire Dales. Key Responsibilities- Establishing and managing a new, innovative residential care service.
- Building and leading a cohesive, high-performing team.
- Setting ambitious targets and delivering outstanding care outcomes.
- Collaborating with families and partners to promote best practices.
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in care.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in staff supervision/management.
- At least 2 years' experience in residential childcare, ideally as a Deputy Manager.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve).
- Full, clean driving license.
- Proven ability to support young people with challenging behaviors.
- Flexibility to cover shifts when required.
- Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
- Bonuses: £5,000 welcome bonus and 10% annual bonus.
