Our client is a large full service law firm with offices across the UK and overseas. The firm has a growing Leeds office and a growing Corporate practice. The Corporate team is ranked as a leading player by the legal directories for Yorkshire and they advise a range of clients on M & A, PE and reorganisation work both in the UK and international work.

Job Description

• Advising on high value deals including M & A and private equity work
• Supporting the Partners in the team on transactions
• Building relationships with clients
• Supporting on business development
• Drafting a range of documents
• Working as part of a wider national Corporate practice and supporting those teams when required.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Corporate Solicitor should have:

• Around 2-5 years PQE
• Specialist knowledge in corporate law.
• Likely to be working for a regional, national or international law firm
• An interest to join a fast growing team
• Ties to Leeds
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• A commitment to continuous professional development.
