An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Design Engineer – Analogue/SMPS to join our well established client who specialise in the design and manufacture of electronics for lighting, on a permanent basis.
The role of Electronics Design Engineer – Analogue/SMPS will join the existing R&D team and closely collaborate with Embedded Software and Mechanical Design engineers to create the next generation of products, LED drivers and Multi sensors.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Design Engineer – Analogue/SMPS to join our well established client who specialise in the design and manufacture of electronics for lighting, on a permanent basis.
The role of Electronics Design Engineer – Analogue/SMPS will join the existing R&D team and closely collaborate with Embedded Software and Mechanical Design engineers to create the next generation of products, LED drivers and Multi sensors.
The role of Electronics Design Engineer – Analogue/SMPS will be based in Ware, Hertfordshire. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30 with a 16:30 finish on a Friday.
Requirements of the Electronics Design Engineer – Analogue/SMPS:
Experience within a similar role / industryExperience with switched mode power supplies, triac, IGBT and MOSFET control
Design-for-manufacture/test, EMC testing, multi-layer PCB layout using Altium and custom inductor design
RF experience with 2.4GHz Zigbee, Bluetooth etc and sub 1GHz radio systems is also be highly desirable
Must be a strong team player
