Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience
As a Customer and Project Support Manager at Ricardo, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and support within a team that assembles and tests multiple supercar and motorsport driveline systems.
Responsibilities- You will be the primary contact between Ricardo and the Customer for technical support, any problem diagnosis required and providing timely resolutions as necessary.
- You will be responsible for leading the Aftersales service supercar programmes.
- You must be able to demonstrate a proven record of delivering technical fast paced projects to deadlines, quality and costs with Customer satisfaction.
- Automotive project delivery experience, preferably motorsport drive train project delivery experience.
- Be a degree qualified Engineer (or similar) with demonstrable knowledge of automotive test rigs and test environments including data acquisition (CANape, Simulink, Labview).
- Have a solid understanding of hydraulic and electrical system diagnostic.
- Understand a production environment of a low volume, niche manufacturer.
- Hands on skills to be directly involved in strip and inspection of transmission systems.
- Good stakeholder management & communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, including MS Project.
- Aptitude for logical, methodical problem-solving using techniques such as 8D etc.
- Good report writing skills.
- Willingness to learn and balance workload across many actions / responsibilities / projects.
- Basic knowledge of electrical motors, inverters and drive units.
- IMechE member, ideally at full level or working towards it or similar.
- Able to demonstrate continuous learning throughout their career.
