Key responsibilities include:
- Management of the Production/Aseptic services based at the Royal Gwent Hospital, manufacturing pharmaceutical products for patient use across all ABUHB sites.
- Manage, plan and develop the service, in-line with the operational strategy developed in conjunction with the Head of Pharmacy, Operational Services, delivering service through management and oversight of appropriate professional and technical staff.
- Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, both internal/external to ABUHB, including staff, patients, carers and support groups.
- Ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and relevant guidelines.

- Member of the GPhC
- Significant experience in hospital pharmacy at a senior level
- Leadership and/or managerial qualification/experience
