Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum.
This temporary top up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Community Therapy Team as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant.
As a vital part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering a patient-centred rehabilitation service, working closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
✅ Deliver rehabilitation through therapy interventions, which may include support with personal care tasks, cognition and mobility✅ Carry out rehabilitation plans as delegated by occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
✅ Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with service users, families, and the therapy team.
✅ Be flexible to support the team during peak service times.
✅ Participate in the 7-day service rota, including weekends, delivering rehabilitation between 8am and 8pm.
About You- Passionate about patient care and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Organised with good time management skills.
- Experience in a healthcare or therapy setting is desirable but not essential.

Qualification/Knowledge
Essential criteria- Level 3 education or equivalent e.g. BTEC, NVQ 3 and A Levels
- Significant experience, skills, knowledge and experience equivalent to level 3 with a willingness to achieve this qualification
- Good knowledge of health and social care
- Working towards or achieved Diploma in Occupational Therapy Support / Physiotherapy Support / Rehabilitation
Experience
Essential criteria- Experience of working across statutory or voluntary organisations
- Experienced team worker
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience of working in a role of supporting therapists
- Experience of working with the relevant patient group
