Grounds Maintenance staff
Challenge-trg Recruitment is currently looking for Grounds Maintenance staff in to work in various locations around the Caerphilly County Borough, CF82 8NR.
**This is a temporary seasonal position, working throughout the Spring and Summer months**
Payrate as Ground Maintenance:
Your pay rate will be £12.85ph
Typical working hours as a Ground Maintenance:
- Full time Days Regular
- Monday to Friday from 07:00am until 4:30pm)
- Early finishes on Fridays
Your responsibilities as a Ground Maintenance:
- Mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Planting, pruning, and maintaining trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Removing debris and litter from grounds
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools
- Reporting any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Carry out a range of maintenance activities including installation of fences and painting
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Candidates must also have their own means of transport as they will be required to travel to depots early in the morning before public transport begins
- This is seasonal work and will start around April, you will need to provide details of two references. You will not be able to start until we have the references returned
