Year 2 Teacher
This role begins March 2025.
Duties as a Year 2 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that support the transition to Key Stage 2
- Develop pupils’ confidence in core subjects, particularly reading, writing, and mathematics
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where needed
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Ideal Year 2 Teacher:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (or are an Early Career Teacher with a passion for Year 2 learning)
- Are committed to creating an engaging and positive learning experience for young children
- Have strong classroom management and communication skills as a Year 2 Teacher.
- Are dedicated to supporting the academic and personal development of children
