Personal Assistant

Personal Assistant required for a happy teenage boy who lives in Launceston.

He has Autism and he would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with and provide him with some 1:1 support.

He would like someone to support him with his communication, independence and life skills. He loves being trains and football.

A personal assistant will enable him to enjoy activities in his local community.

Good rate of pay £12 per hour.

Up to 6 hours fortnightly are available, although this is flexible.

Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.

Car driver preferred.

Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.

The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
