Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Emergency Care Assistant maternity cover for a year in our Emergency Department. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated people who want to join our friendly and supportive team.
If you have a “can do” attitude, work well as part of a team, have a determination to provide excellent care, possess excellent interpersonal skill and are comfortable in working in a fast paced and busy environment then this could be the perfect job for you.
This vacancy is linked to a level 2 apprenticeship. This will support you to gain relevant knowledge, skills and experience that will help you achieve your potential in this role. Working alongside the Trust’s experienced staff you will be supported to gain the apprenticeship qualification and functional skills in Maths and English if required.This is a great opportunity to gain a national recognised qualification while you are working and earning, which will support you in both this role and in your future career at Frimley Health.
You will not be required to undertake an apprenticeship if you have previously completed a relevant apprenticeship, NVQ or similar qualification.
Main duties of the job
You will be working with the nursing and multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care to patients and relatives.
You will be supporting the nursing staff in ensuring the all the documentation is up to date, reporting any changes in a patient's condition and making sure your area is kept safe and stocked.
