ASSISTANT TEACHER (With Responsibility for
Cover—QTS Not Required).
Unqualified Teacher Pay Range Salary £21,731 — £33,902 (Teacher Terms and Conditions apply to this post).
We have recently reconfigured our cover team to ensure we get the best outcomes for our staff and pupils. If you are already working covering lessons for teacher absence or thinking about joining the Teaching Profession, then we have a great opportunity for you.
This role enables you to develop your knowledge of the secondary curriculum, working with young people and ensure they reach their full potential. Supported by a Senior Leader in our school you will cover lessons when teachers are absent. The role can be demanding but very rewarding.If you want to pursue a particular subject then talk to us. The salary is negotiable depending on your experience and future goals. Our team work with teachers across the school and are given the opportunity to do small group work, work within a form group to develop pastoral skills.
Time also can be given to pursue a professional qualification.
These roles are vital to running a successful curriculum, we invest in our people and offer a wide range of CPD, advancement in career and even financial support to achieve qualified teacher status. We will give you a laptop, show you how to deliver outstanding lessons and give you the confidence to be an outstanding practitioner.
