Clinical Responsibilities To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of work in compliance with the ethical code of practice set out by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). To actively manage a caseload of outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology patients, assessing and managing their dietary needs while working closely with other members ofthe multi-disciplinary team.
To attend appropriate clinics and multidisciplinary meetings to provide expert evidencebased nutritional support and advice to clinicians, patients and carers. To work with the dietetic and multi-disciplinary team responsible for the development andprovision of evidence based dietetic service to the patients, carers and staff of Kings College Hospital in Gastroenterology People Management and Performance Lead, coach and manage the performance of the team in line with good people management practices.
Ensuring excellence is recognised and underperformance is addressed. Participate in regular performance appraisal meetings and ensure each member of theteam has a clear set of objectives and development plans. Ensure the team is compliant with all statutory, mandatory training together with any professional training requirements, ensuring they are up to date and fully compliant.Please see attached for full job description and person specification.
