Finance Manager
Robert Half Finance and Accounting are exclusively partnering with a global Education firm in London who are looking to recruit an immediate, interim Finance Manager for 6 months.
Role:
Our client is looking to recruit an immediate, interim Finance for 6 months whilst they go through a restructure.
In this role you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Supervision and approval of weekly payment/staff expenses runs and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Taking lead on month end processes; being able to prepare accounts to a P&L/BS Level, accounting for Accruals, Prepayments, Fixed asset, Deferred revenue and costs; Intercompany reconciliations, Assets etc ensuring deadlines are met
- Preparation and filing of VAT returns, Corporation Tax and PAYE
- Provide continuity during the implementation of a new Financial system (Acumatica)
- Supervising and supporting other Finance team members, with any queries and information required
- Approval of payroll, staff expenses and payments
- Assist with the recruitment, training and development, and supervision of accounting staff as required, including appraisals
- Assisting in Year End and Audit processes
- Other ad hoc projects for the Finance department
Profile:
The ideal candidate for the interim Finance Manager role will either be a qualified accountant CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
You will be a hands on Finance Manager from an SME environment who has experience leading a team whilst also being hands on within finance, taking ownership of the balance sheet reconciliations and month end processes.
You must be immediate or on a 1 week notice to be considered for this role.

Our client is a global Educational firm are looking to recruit an immediate, interim Finance Manager for 6 months.
Salary & Benefits:
This interim Finance Manager role will be paying circa £70,000 to £80,000 pro rata per annum, dependant on experience.
