A quick look at the role

The BI Support Analyst supports the Business Intelligence team deliver reporting, data and analytics to the organisation. You will manage the incoming Service-Now support tickets to ensure colleagues can access the information they need to do their job and receive a high level of service.

The role will be 22.5 hours per week but we are flexible on how those are delivered.

Your core responsibilities
  • Respond to Service-Now tickets or queries in the BI mailbox and be a primary source of contact for the business regarding access to central data and reporting products.
  • Respond to Sales Incentive Scheme queries from the business, validating and updating customer contractual services data on centralised master data lists.
  • Use existing reporting tools to monitor the adoption of Power BI across the business and engage with report owners to promote the adoption of agreed reporting quality standards and best practices
  • Manage, monitor and adapt ad-hoc data and report requests from various areas of the business, understanding and responding appropriately
  • Identify, suggest and, where appropriate, develop new reporting solutions to meet information needs from stakeholders
  • Ensure quality and integrity of data in the business Intelligence systems is fit for purpose to ensure company reports are accurate
  • Participate in projects and short-term project requirements in line with business
Our essential requirements
  • GCSE grade 6 in English and Maths
  • Confident with all Microsoft Applications including Outlook and Excel
  • Analytical with basic knowledge of Power BI
  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail
