Established in 2022 by two experienced entrepreneurs, we have built a profitable, growing business with stellar customer feedback.Our current focus is on residential lease extensions which we are reinventing from the ground up with the latest cutting-edge technology such as AI. This is a very exciting time for us as the leasehold market is set to undergo huge changes, which we see as a great opportunity to take our proposition to the next level. To seize the market opportunity, we have applied for authorisation from the SRA to become an ABS.In preparation for this, and the ongoing growth of our business, we are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced solicitor to join our team.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced solicitor to join our client case management. This includes (1) day-to-day client work, (2) working closely with external solicitors who advise our clients on restricted legal activities (in the current set-up) and (3) supporting the development of the business alongside, notably the establishment of the ABS once authorisation has been received from the SRA.
The caseload will be initially focused on statutory lease extensions with some collective enfranchisement work. We have big plans for the development of our business which will increase the variety of your work - and opportunities for you to progress your career.
Responsibilities- Day-to-day client case work: Manage our clients’ lease extensions, working closely with our in-house valuers as well as external solicitors and other partners.

- Stakeholder engagement: Act as a key point of escalation for negotiating and exchanging information with third parties such as solicitors, surveyors, and landlords.
- Develop legal know-how: Further develop our legal lease extension know-how as well as knowledge in the next areas the business will develop into, in particular the setting up of the ABS post authorisation.
- Process and technology enhancement: Proactive look for ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the work we do.
- Legal risk management: Identify potential risks and provide solutions to mitigate these risks, ensuring compliance across all aspects of the business.
Requirements
Ideal candidate- At least 3+ PQE as a practising solicitor (with more experience highly welcome)
- Experience in residential leasehold enfranchisement is a must-have
- Strong focus on client service, helping customers with enthusiasm
- Proactive, pragmatic problem solver who takes responsibility when issues arise
- Strong attention to detail in order to ensure procedures are followed correctly
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage casework amongst the team
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Technical savvy who is comfortable with a wide range of technologies
- Experience in a startup or other fast-paced environment
